Langtang trek is mainly to have trek in the remote but the most amazing valley of Langtang region, where you can have an exciting moment at high mountain lakes Gosainkund and the beautiful valley ' Helambu' and you can also visit the Langtang National park and then have a trek to the end of the valley to view wonderful ice flutes of Gyangchempo.
While we go for the trek in the region, we drive along the Trisuli River north of Kathmandu, through Trasuli Bazaar, Dhunche and finally reach at Syabrubensi, a Sherpa village located at the very edge of the Langtang National Park. Then, we begin our trek to the Langtang valley, in between, we cross many rivers along a gorge and pass through oak and rhododendron forests and glacial moraine and reach at Tamang village of Langtang.
There is Kyangin Gompa located on the top of the valley, where we stop overnight and visit the local yak cheese factory and have a view of the glaciers, which is also a gateway to Tibet and we return back to Syabru village and make a trip to Sing Gompa, a place where the holy lake Gosainkund is situated and we cross the Llaurebena Pass (4610m), and continue south leaving the Langtang region and reach at Helambu valley and subsequently at Chisapani and return back to Kathmandu.
Langtang Valley Trek
Langtang valley trek begins from the lower Langtang valley, through the forests and along with the Sherpa villages and farmlands of the people. Many villagers are originally from Tibet. Langtang Gosainkunda Trek
Langtang and Gosainkunda Trek are situated close to the Tibetan border and remote valley enclosed by snow-capped mountains that ends in the peak of Langtang Lirung (7246m).We trek through larch and rhododendron forests that are rich with wild flowers and birds. Langtang Ganja La Pass Trek
We begin the Langtang Ganja La Pass Trek, from Syabrubeshi and continue up to Kyanging gumpa and we have a rest for about a day for acclimatization.
