Ganga Jamuna Trekking is a purely camping and moderate trekking and if you like to experience the Nepali culture, lifestyle one can do home stay trekking too. During this trekking you pass different villages where you can interact with the different ethnic groups of Nepal such as Newar, Gurung, Chhetri Brahmin and others. This trekking offers you a peek observation of the culture and unspoiled tradition of these people. Besides of this, you can the view of Langtang range, Ganesh Himal, Shringi Himal, Manaslu range, Lamjung Himal, Himalchuli, Annapurna range and many other mountains and peaks.
While you are in this trekking you find this trail is enriched with beautiful flora and fauna. You pass rhododendron, pine forests with other natural vegetation. These forests are home of various species of birds and wild animals as well. Another attraction of this trekking is that you visit Ganga Jamuna which is a twin waterfall. There is a Kukur Dhara (Dog Spring) and it is believed that taking a dip into this will get rid from rabies. Ganga Jamuna is Hindu pilgrimage site where a famous fair is held around the temple before three days of full moon day during the first week of November.
It takes about four hours. Today day you trek gradual ascent path all the way to Ganga Jamuna. While you trek, you pass beautiful forest, ridges, farming terraces and picturesque villages.
This day you can hike to the top of Ganga Jamuna and can enjoy the spectacular views of Langtang range, Ganesh Himal, Shringi Himal, Manaslu range, Lamjung Himal, Himalchuli, Annapurna range and many other mountains and peaks.
It takes four hours to reach in Budhathum from Ganga Jamuna. This day the trail almost dowl hill and flat and you can enjoy fascinating green hills, beautiful waterfalls, small rhododendron and pine forests.
It takes about two hours to Arughat Bazaar from where you take a bus to Kathmandu.
